Holiday Greetings

Hello friends!  It's been a while again.  So much going on, all good intentions of blogging out the window!  Doesn't mean I haven't been creating up a frenzy though!  I'm buried up to my eyeballs in holiday cards that I've got to get in the mail.  I can't turn off the inspiration lately and can't stop creating.  I'm finally cutting myself off today, for a few hours anyway, so that I can sit down and write greetings in these cards to send to my family and friends.  Once I've done that, then I can go on creating more!  Here's a peek at what I've been working on...

I dressed up two glassine bags for two special friends and filled them with Snyder's chocolate covered pretzels, yum... ate a few along the way.  I first stamped the bags in whisper white with a snowflake image from Stampin' Up!  I then created toppers for each bag with some lovely Melissa Frances patterned paper and stamped on it using the Winter Post (my current holiday fav) and Bells and Boughs sets from Stampin' Up!  The tags are created with a tea stained doily, more Melissa Frances paper and sweet little vintage snowflakes.  So much fun to dress up gifts for the holidays!

Onto a couple of cards-
More beautiful Melissa Frances Holiday paper and rub-ons here along with another image from SU's Winter Post set.  I added some glitter underneath the skaters to help ground them a bit.  They looked a little funny floating around on the card!

Next up is a card created in celebration of winter, also showcasing the fact that I'm starting to tire of red and green.  Gotta mix it up a bit with some softer colors, like pink!
Love these fabric fancies from Webster's Pages left over in my stash from last Christmas just waiting to be put to good use.  It's paired with some beautiful pink seam binding and a trinket pin from Maya Road.  The background is stamped in whisper white with my favorite little snowflake from SU's Northern Hearts hostess set.  Also used...more patterned paper from Melissa Frances, sequin trim, and a foundation of my favorite kraft, or crumbcake, cardstock.
Assuming life doesn't sweep me away again, I'll be back over the next few days to share some more.  Hope you're having a beautiful holiday season!
